Founded by Saudi wood sculptor Khalid Al-Shadadi, Sarab Art Studio is an independent artistic space dedicated to hand-carved wooden sculpture.
Each work is created entirely by hand as a unique, one-of-one sculpture, drawing inspiration from Saudi heritage, poetry, human experience, and the natural character of wood.

The work does not begin with a fixed form imposed upon the wood. It begins with attention—to grain, density, resistance, fracture, and the spaces already held within the material.
Through carving, observation, and response, the sculpture develops with the wood rather than against it..

The wood is not asked to disappear beneath the form. Its grain, tool marks, voids, and natural history remain part of the work.
